Carl Dawkins – Mr Satisfaction

In 1967, Carl Dawkins burst onto the Jamacan music scene with his smash ‘double’header’, ‘Baby I Love You’ c/w ‘Hard Times’.

Over the years that immediately followed, his recorded work remianed relatively infrequent, but always of the highest quality, and in 1970 he returned to the top of the local charts with the timeless hit, ‘Satisfaction’.

In recent years a new generation of music fans have discovered his genius through Major Lazer‘s 2013 hit, ‘Jessica’, which sampled the aforementioned Jamaican chart-topper.
