Ken Boothe

Born in Kingston on 22nd March 1948, Ken Boothe is regarded by many as the greatest reggae music artist alive today.

During a career that has spanned five decades, Ken has recorded more Jamaican hits than any other performer, with many of this works regarded as the finest ever to have been produced on the island.

Although his soulful and distinctive singing voice has featured on hundreds of ska, rock steady and reggae recordings, it is through his two major international chart hits, ‘Everything I Own’ and ‘Crying Over You’ that he is best known globally.
