Lord Tanamo: A Tribute

The Jamaican music industry was dealt another blow earlier on 12th April when Joseph Gordon aka Lord Tanamo passed away in his adopted home of Canada.

His career took him from mento singer in the fifties, to fronting the legendary Skatalites in the sixties, then on to becoming a reggae hit-maker in the early seventies before finally returning to his calypso roots later in the decade.
