Passport to the Motherland – Migration Dreams (V&A)

To mark the 70th anniversary of the arrival in Britain of the now famous voyage made by SS Windrush in 1948, the V&A in London will be hosting a night focusing on migration to the UK over the past 7 decades.
Commencing at 6pm on Friday 8 June, ‘Passport to the Motherland – Migration Dreams’ is to feature an array of fascinating and enlightening highlights, including talks, displays and interactive experiences, with Trojan DJ Mistah Brown and Norman Jay MBE providing the musical backdrop during the evening with classics from the catalogue.
