Pluto Shervington

With numerous Jamaican hits to his name, Leighton ‘Pluto’ Shervington is considered a national treasure, but to many outside the Caribbean, his brand of reggae has been largely overlooked by music historians and fans.

During the seventies and early eighties, he not only remained one of Jamaica’s most popular talents, but also achieved international success with a trio of major hits in ‘Dat’, ‘Ram Goat Liver’ and ‘Your Honour’.

To mark the 30th anniversary of the latter breaching the UK pop charts, we pay due respect to the man with an updated bio and Trojan spotify playlist, which can be found in the Artists section on this site.
