Roy Shirley – The Musical Priest

On 4th June 2008, one of the most popular singer-songwriters in Jamaican music history sadly passed away. Yet, having withdrawn from the music business some years before, Roy Shirley‘s loss was largely ignored by the music press.

Today, some 9 years after his premature passing we pay due respect to the man who helped shaped the sound of reggae with a newly updated bio and spotify playlist featured on the Artists section of this website.
