After bursting onto the international music scene in the late seventies with the best-selling ‘Don’t Tell Your Neighbour’ and ‘Breakfast In Bed’, Sheila Hylton became one of Jamaica’s hottest talents, with the former air hostess and model widely feted as the new queen of lovers rock.

Her run of hits lasted into the eighties when her sulty interpretation of the Police hit, ‘The Bed’s Too Big Without You’ also breached the British mainstream charts, yet within a few years she had called time on her recording career and moved to the USA.

The following decade she returned to Jamaica and has since occassionally demonstrated she has lost known of her talent with a number of fine recordings.
